This memoir tells the story of Izard's journey from volunteering at Charlotte's Urban Ministry Center to founding Moore Place, Charlotte's first permanent supportive housing for more than 100 chronically homeless people.
A diverse group of volunteers and community supporters will be reading along with us. In recognition of World Homelessness Day, we will talk together about how we experience and impact our community. How can we, together, learn more about helping people become safely and stably housed?
