Who We Are
We are a multi-services hub for connecting individuals and families, who are at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness, to coordinated services that create a path to stable housing and renewed hope.
Oak City Cares staff coordinates services offered by human services professionals, medical and mental health providers, and a broad range of specialists from multiple partners at our downtown center.
We work collaboratively to help make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring in Wake County, North Carolina.
What We Do
Weekday Services
M-F 9 AM-5 PM
- Coordinated assessment and connection to housing assistance and community resources
- On-site services to help secure medical, mental health, and substance use care
- Welcoming and compassionate place with free access to showers, laundry facilities, computers, and quick-charging cell phone stations.
- On-site skill-building classes and workshops.
